- Thunder Bay International Airport’s terminal building is open to the public at 3:00am
- For arriving passengers, there is a Hotel Directory board beside the inbound baggage carousels, which aids travellers with connecting to some of the nearby hotels, and their shuttle services, if applicable.
- Passengers departing on winter vacation charters (Air Transat, Sunwing, WestJet Vacations) are advised to arrive 2 hours prior to departure.
- Most carriers close their check-in counters 45 minutes prior to departure.
The Thunder Bay International Airports Authority Administration office hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
